By downloading, installing, or using Benji, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Description of Service

Benji is a personal finance tracking application that allows you to:

Track expenses and income
Monitor investments
Set budgets and financial goals
Keep a financial journal
View currency exchange rates

Benji is a tool for personal use and is not a substitute for professional financial advice.

Accounts

You can use Benji without creating an account (Guest mode). Creating an account enables cloud sync and backup.

If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials.

Your Responsibilities

Provide accurate information
Keep your account credentials secure
Use the app lawfully
Not attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or misuse the app
Back up important data

Data Accuracy

Currency exchange rates and asset prices are provided for informational purposes only and may be delayed or inaccurate. Do not rely on this data for trading or investment decisions.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the financial data you enter.

Intellectual Property

Benji, including its design, code, and content, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the app without permission.

Your financial data belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of any data you enter.

Service Availability

We strive to keep Benji available and functioning, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. The app may be unavailable due to:

Maintenance and updates
Technical issues
Factors beyond our control

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Benji and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses.

Termination

You may stop using Benji at any time by uninstalling the app and deleting your account.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms will first be addressed through informal negotiation. Contact us at legal@benji-app.org to resolve issues directly.

If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved in accordance with the laws applicable in your jurisdiction. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
